🎅✨ Thank You, Republic of Thrift — and Thank You, Santa! ✨🎅
Santa on the Radio 2025 was pure Sonoma Valley magic last night — filled with calls, laughter, wishes, and joy. Read on for links to listen on our archive!

We couldn’t do it without the generous, continued annual support of Republic of Thrift, the homegrown nonprofit thrift store benefitting the public schools of Sonoma Valley. Since opening in 2012, they’ve donated over $494,000 to our local schools — a remarkable community investment that continues to uplift kids, teachers, and families across the Valley.

From all of us at KSVY Sonoma 91.3 FM, thank you to Jeannette, Michelle, and the entire Republic of Thrift team for making a difference in the lives of our Valley’s children — and for helping bring Santa to the airwaves for families across our region.
And of course… a big thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for bringing so much joy to the studio.

Today on The New Old Show | 4–5 PM on KSVY 91.3 FM stream KSVY.org

James Marshall Berry welcomes a lineup of SonomaPalooza musicians into the studio ahead of the Dec. 10 benefit concert at the Sebastiani Theatre. Jenni Purcell, John Arntz, and more will be joining live to talk collaboration, community, and what to expect from this one-night “mini-festival” supporting La Luz Center.

SonomaPalooza was sparked by local music champion Robyn Johnson, known from her years behind the bar at the Sonoma Speakeasy and now as manager of Parkside Tasting Bar, where she’s been bringing jazz back into the room. Nearly 30 of the North Bay’s top players will take the Sebastiani stage for a unique night of blended bands, strings, special arrangements, and surprise guest artists.

Erik Rivera is one of today’s standout Latinx multi-hyphenates—an actor, writer, and comedian known for his HBO Max special SUPER WHITE and his appearance on The Tonight Show. Originally from New York, he’s the creator and host of BROWN-ISH, Los Angeles’ only all-Latinx stand-up showcase, and is currently developing multiple projects, including the animated RICKY & CRICKET for Amazon and a single-cam comedy with Anjelah Johnson-

Offstage, Erik is an avid runner—a passion that surprised even him. Now he trains regularly, races several half marathons a year, and often crafts new ideas mid-run. For Erik, running and comedy share a purpose: each offers space to breathe when life gets heavy. He brings that mix of humor, heart, and runner grit to today’s episode of Finish Line Moments.

Jazz in the Valley returns Thursday night on KSVY Sonoma 91.3 FM at 9 PM!

As the night deepens, we’ll find ourselves ’round about midnight at the intersection of jazz and blues—two genres shaped by the same soil, growing up side by side, and resonating beautifully together.

Eric Feather's program will explore that shared sound, and we’re joined by special guest Brian Pardo, Sonoma Valley resident and extraordinary guitarist, who will be in the studio offering stories, insights, and a few surprises of his own.

If KSVY’s music, conversation, and local storytelling mean something to you, we invite you to support our Giving Tuesday and End-of-Year Fundraiser. Your contribution keeps independent local media strong and ensures programs like Jazz in the Valley continue to thrive.

Give securely at KSVY.org and help us carry this work into 2026.
