I remember when I first became a student at Bethel University Adult and Graduate Studies. I wrote a commitment letter to myself saying I can do this and when I do, to become a trusted voice in and for my community!
I did it! I’m living out my Vision Book (Board)!
9-5 matters as well as the business I’m creating!
✨ Community Collaboration in Action ✨
Last night, Janella Davis, Tamina Ewing, and Rain Adams had the honor of presenting to the Transformation Ministries Family Empowerment Center community.
Each of us shared resources and opportunities available to South Bend residents through the organizations we serve:
🏡 Janella Davis represents the City of South Bend as a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor, offering guidance on housing stability, homeownership readiness, and navigating housing challenges.
🏡 Tamina Ewing leads Community Homebuyers Corporation, a City of South Bend housing program, focused on homeownership opportunities, home repair programs, and sustainable housing pathways.
💰 Rain Adams represents the South Bend Financial Empowerment Center (FEC), a free public service helping residents strengthen their financial foundation through banking, savings, credit, debt, and legacy planning.
We are grateful to Transformation Ministries for creating space for families to learn, ask questions, and take steps toward a fresh start.
This is what it looks like when city resources and community partners come together to serve with clarity, care, and collaboration. 💚
