Beginning September 15, 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is retiring the current Global Entry mobile app and replacing it with the new Trusted Traveler mobile app.

The new app will bring several Trusted Traveler programs together in one place, including Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI and FAST.
The important part: Your Global Entry membership is NOT changing. This is simply a change to the app.

If you currently use the Global Entry app when returning to the U.S., you’ll want to download the new Trusted Traveler app and get familiar with it before your next international trip.

One less thing to figure out while standing in an airport after a long flight. Because that is never the ideal time to discover an app no longer works. ✈️
