My name is Joseph Scott, professionally known as JOE BOSS. Thank you for tuning in to Rise Up Worldwide.

I had an interest in radio from a young age. Growing up in the small city of Beckley WV, hip-hop music and RnB were two genres rarely heard on the radio. In junior high school, I visited New York and heard Hot97 for the first time.

I immediately fell in love with the fact that I could hear my favorite music and listen to hilarious personalities and celebrities during these shows. In high school, I had the opportunity to volunteer with the NAACP youth group. They opened the door for me, and my friends host a radio show for 2 hours.

This event changed my life.

Fast forward, I had the opportunity to work with WRHU Hofstra University, WGBB 1240AM in Long Island NY, and WordUpFM.com in Brooklyn NY. In 2008, I decided to start my own media company called "Official Media." Out of it, “Official BOSS Radio” began. It was syndicated on six Internet stations across the country. In 2011, I went back to school to pursue a degree in marketing, closing down Official Media in the process.

In January 2016, Rise Up Worldwide was born with an exceptionally better purpose and plan than previous endeavors. Rise Up Worldwide has started with Live Radio shows and music; eventually expanding into all forms of media.

Rise Up Worldwide was created with the purpose of inspiring every person to be better each day, using our Faith in Jesus to uplift all that listens. We provide positive energy, so you can go and change the world!

In late 2018 Rise Up Worldwide added the likes of Prophet link and eventually DJ LostNfound to the show as a Cohost and official DJ which brought a very dynamic element to the show.

We bring the best in Music, Urban Ministry and trending topics from a biblical worldview.
