Adventure Travelista Outdoor Adventures - Iconic Landscapes, Experiences, & Stays

Fall is my favorite excuse to spend every possible weekend outside. 🍂

Give me golden aspen trees, colorful mountain trails, crisp air, and a hike with views like these, and I’m a happy girl.

The only downside? Peak fall colors never last long enough. So when the mountains start turning gold, I’m squeezing in as many hikes and road trips as I possibly can before winter takes over.

Save this as your reminder to get outside and enjoy fall while it lasts! 🍁

Is Grand Teton National Park the most beautiful national park in America? Because I’m struggling to think of a contender. 🏔️😍

Jagged mountain peaks, crystal-clear lakes, wildlife roaming through the valleys, and sunrises that make waking up before 5 AM feel like a brilliant life decision.

We kicked off our road trip with a stop at Grand Teton National Park, and between the mountain views, scenic drives, and golden morning light, it was the perfect reminder that some of the best adventures are right here in the US.

If you’re planning a trip, here’s what I’d put on your list:

🏔️ Grand Teton National Park for those iconic mountain views
🌅 Sunrise for the most incredible light on the peaks
🚗 The scenic drives because the views just keep getting better
🥾 A hike to experience the mountains beyond the roadside overlooks
📸 Time to stop often because you’re going to want photos of everything

And if you’re visiting Yellowstone, don’t make the mistake of skipping Grand Teton. They’re right next to each other, and both deserve time on your itinerary!

Tell me: is Grand Teton the most beautiful national park in America, or does another park take the crown? 👇

Arizona has some of the wildest landscapes in the American Southwest, and White Pocket might be one of its most underrated adventures. 🤯

Located in the Vermilion Cliffs area of northern Arizona, White Pocket is a maze of swirling sandstone, wavy rock formations, and crazy colors that look almost impossible to be real.

📍 White Pocket, Arizona
🥾 Best for photographers, explorers, and anyone who loves places far off the beaten path.
🚙 Getting there requires a high-clearance 4WD vehicle and experience driving in deep sand. The remote road conditions can be challenging, so check conditions before going.
📸 Sunrise and sunset bring out the incredible colors and textures in the rock.

This is the kind of place that reminds me why I’ll always choose an adventure over an ordinary weekend.

Save this for your Arizona bucket list, and follow for more incredible destinations, outdoor adventures, and places worth exploring. 🌎

For 7 days, we carried everything we needed on our backs and hiked through the Dolomites on the Alta Via 1. Long climbs. Tired legs. Heavy packs. Early mornings. Weather we couldn’t control. And then we’d reach another mountain pass, look around at where our own two feet had taken us, and somehow be ready to do it all over again the next day.

There’s something I love about choosing hard things.

We’re lucky to live in a world designed to make so much of life comfortable. Cars take us places. Food shows up at our doors. Our phones answer almost anything instantly. And I’m definitely not giving up my warm shower or morning coffee anytime soon. 😂

But that’s also why I think we sometimes need to deliberately choose discomfort.

Hike the mountain.
Carry the pack.
Sign up for the race.
Travel somewhere that intimidates you.
Try the thing you’re not completely sure you can finish.

Because every time I voluntarily do something hard, I add another little piece of evidence to the pile:

I can do hard things.

And when life eventually hands us the hard things we DIDN’T choose, maybe we walk into them knowing a little more about what we’re capable of.

Alta Via 1 was absolutely beautiful, but I think this is the part of these adventures I love most. It’s not just about seeing incredible places.

It’s about meeting a version of yourself you don’t always get to meet when everything is easy.

And doing it alongside a group of people who chose the hard thing too? Even better. 🥹

If this sounds like your kind of adventure, you can join my Group Trips page + waitlist through the link in my bio. I’m planning more adventures for 2027, and Alta Via 1 and/or Tour du Mont Blanc just might make another appearance. 👀🥾⛰️

What if you stopped saving Madeira for “someday” and actually hiked across it with me?

I’m taking a small group of adventure-loving travelers to Madeira April 29–May 5, 2027 for 7 days of coastal paths, ancient forests, volcanic mountains, dramatic ridgelines and some seriously beautiful hiking.

And if you’re wondering what hiking Madeira is actually like, it’s not just walking through pretty scenery. We’ll hike coastal cliffs, narrow mountain paths, ancient levadas, volcanic terrain and high ridges while experiencing the island’s completely different landscapes and microclimates. Basically, if you like your vacations active, this one is for you. 🥾⛰️

You also don’t have to spend months researching trails, booking accommodations, figuring out transportation or planning the logistics. That’s already handled. You’ll have a certified local guide, accommodations, airport and trailhead transfers, breakfasts and lunches, and insurance included.

✨ MADEIRA: INSIDE OUT
