The controversial proposal by The Eddy, a privately owned downtown bar, to lease the publicly owned City Plaza for $1 per year continues to draw criticism. Owners of The Eddy today pulled their proposal after the backlash and after city staff said the proposal did not comply with city regulations. This Is Reno

Kurt Stitser, co-owner of The Eddy, formally withdrew his Letter of Intent (LOI) to lease the plaza on Wednesday afternoon.
