“I like never want to do that again” - famous last words 😂

Moab has some of the most inspiring & unique desert towers, but among all of them, this one stands out bc it’s genuinely looks like it could fall over at any second 😳

The tower is called “ancient art” and it is located in a really cool area near Moab called the Fisher Towers! It is a VERY cool climb, but also pretty terrifying standing on top of that little corkscrew looking down over 300+ feet!!

This was actually our second time climbing Ancient Art and it was so fun seeing all of the progress we’ve made since the first round… even though I was JUST as terrified lol that part never goes away.

Even if you are not into climbing, there is an epic 4.5 mi hiking trail that winds around the base of all the towers that I would HIGHLY suggest doing if you’re in the area :)

Ofc wearing titanium line from h2t!!! Their titanium line is made to be more durable, more weather-resistant, and more technical than their everyday pieces, but still super comfy and easy to wear!!

DISCLAIMER: this climb is very dangerous and the rock is extremely fragile, please do not attempt unless you’re experienced and properly prepared

Would you stand on top of this?!

life in a snow globe ❄️

& a little on new years goals/resolutions👇🏼

I’ve had a few people ask me what my goals are going into this year and my answer feels weird to say out loud because the truth is… I don’t usually set specific goals 😅

I am someone who will feel like a failure if I don’t “accomplish” whatever goal I set out for myself. It’s an all encompassing feeling and something that I will hyper fixate on for MONTHS, so I’ve found it a lot healthier for myself to have general thoughts & feelings moving into the new year.

So my feelings moving into this year look a little something like this:

-continue to grow and strengthen friendships
-feel stronger in my climbing
-work towards house renovations
-take care of my body
-continue to grow business
-prioritize my marriage 🤍
-do things that make me happy
-make more time for out of town family

& as always: be a better human than I was the year prior!!

Do you set goals for the new year???

it’s the thought that counts, right?! 🤦🏼‍♀️

3 years ago sentry and I decided to trade in those late nye nights and instead wake up for the first sunrise of the year together. It has been one of my very favorite traditions and one that I look forward to all December!!!

There’s just something about waking up (not hungover) and setting the year off with a sunrise that makes me feel like I can conquer anything and everything!!!

This is the first year we’ve really been “skunked out” by weather 😂 but it was a good reminder that it’s not about the sunrise itself, but the intention behind the act!!!

We laughed so hard at the fact that we were the only people on the beach, sitting in the cold rain, getting giddy at a sliver of pink in the sky 😆🤣

Still an epic way to start the year off in my opinion!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year’s Day :)

Just two kids from Alabama that made all their dreams come true 🥹

Sometimes I truly cannot believe that we did it. That we built the life that we’ve always wanted for ourselves from the ground up 😭😭😭

When I think back to that moment, almost 8 years ago, when we said goodbye to our families and both packed into my 2004 jeep liberty with all of our belongings (a total of like 2 suitcases each) 🤣 to move all the way across the country into the complete unknown, I am in utter disbelief of the bravery and sheer perseverance of those two KIDS that made the leap.

We had nothing to our names. Sentry had tons of student debt, and I had been working on an Alabama nurse salary (which if you don’t know is basically BARELY above minimum wage). So when I say we had nothing- we truly had NOTHING, but the dream of living a life of adventure.

over the past 7 years we never stopped grinding and fighting for the life we’ve always wanted. We lived in a travel trailer and then multiple vans in order to save money, all while sharing the highs and lows of our lives on this page along the way.

I had a visceral full circle moment the other day when we were sitting in the living room of the house that WE bought in the mountain town we never thought we’d be a part of and I just felt so much gratitude to younger Sentry and Isabel for never giving up.

thank you all so much for being here. Sharing our lives online has brought us more joy than we ever thought possible (as well as some of the very best friends and community that we never knew we needed)!!

We have big plans for 2026 and we can’t wait to take you along with us!!!

xoxo,
Isabel & Sentry

a very non-white Christmas 🎄

the past few weeks have looked a little different than Christmas’s past. We’ve been dealing with abnormally high temps and atmospheric rivers and daily prayers for snow (keep the prayers coming)!!!

The past couple of weeks we have hiked, climbed, & mountain biked. I’ve picked up new hobbies, like Christmas cookie decorating and knitting 😂 aaaaand (soft launch) sentry got a dirtbike!!! So we’ve been learning to enjoy this dry December as much as we can!!!

no matter the weather, there is ALWAYS a way to get outside & spend time with the ones we love & we are so grateful for this holiday season despite the lack of white stuff ❄️

Merry Christmas week everyone!!!

(snow dances and prayers appreciated)
