A doctor's work does not have to end at the hospital door.

Dr. Winfred Korletey Baah represents a broader understanding of service, one that connects professional excellence with community development.

As a physician and nephrologist, his career has been devoted to healthcare. But his contribution extends beyond treating individual patients. His involvement in health education, patient safety, healthcare regulation and the development of health-training opportunities demonstrates an understanding that strong communities require strong institutions.

As an indigene of Odumase-Krobo, his involvement in efforts to advance the Odumase-Krobo Nursing and Midwifery Training College is particularly significant. Creating opportunities for young people to receive professional health training is not merely an educational investment; it is an investment in the future of the community.

Iran is on their knees again, but it's too late!

As Tehran is engulfed in flames, calls are intensified from the government of Iran once again for a ceasefire. The same ceasefire they quickly deny once it's brokered. According to the US vice president, JD Vance, "the basic deal we cut was, we will lift our blockades if you stop shooting at ships. But if you shoot at ships, we are going to punch back, and we're going to punch back harder than ever before. That was the deal.

They said they would stop shooting at ships, and What happened 24 hours ago? They started shooting at ships again. If they shoot at ships, we are going to knock the h€|| out of them". And that is where we are right now! Iran has violated the "d€∆d deal" and they're paying costly for it. If you know you have one eye, don't engage in a battle that involves stoning.

I heard many people talk about retaliation, and I laughed. How does Iran retaliate this? With the remaining two soldiers? With their Air Force that is gone? With the navy that were sunk with their warships? In their conquered air space?

The hunter deities of Kroboland don’t boast, their power speaks in the hush of the forest and the trembling of those who dare to cross their path. These deities are not the flashy, loud types. They’re old-school, ancient as the rivers that cut through the land, steady as the ancestors who refused to bow.

Below are their characters.

1. They are guardians of balance

In Krobo tradition, the hunter deities hold authority over the wild. They keep the peace between humanity and the unseen, the bush spirits, the roaming forces, the things the untrained eye will never notice. When a hunter steps into the forest, he doesn’t walk alone. He carries permission.

2. Their power is inherited, not improvised

These deities don’t trade in modern shortcuts. Their strength flows through lineage, rites, and covenants sealed long before colonizers drew borders on our land. Young hunters rise only if they respect the old ways-purification, offerings, discipline. No shortcuts. No cheap mysticism.

3. They grant precision and protection

Every Krobo hunter knows this: a missed shot isn’t just bad aim, it’s spiritual disconnection. The hunter gods give clarity, calm nerves, and that uncanny accuracy that makes the bush submit. They cloak their own in silence, making them invisible to danger but visible to opportunity.

4. Their wrath is not poetic, it’s practical

If you break taboos, disrespect the shrines, or hunt without permission, the consequences aren’t “maybe.” They’re certain. Ill luck. Lost game. Strange sickness. Forest accidents with no explanation. The deities of Kroboland don’t send warnings twice.

5. Their influence extends beyond the forest

People call them “hunter deities,” but their reach spills into daily life" leadership, conflict, courage, survival. Any Krobo person walking with truth and discipline is already under their shadow. They represent the old power that teaches you to face life head-on, not hide behind excuses.

6. They are the link between man, land, and spirit

Kroboland’s hunter gods stitched the physical and spiritual worlds together long before Western religion arrived. They remind the people:
“You’re not just living on the land, you’re living with it.”
