FLIGHT ATTENDANT CAME UP TO ME AND SAID, 'STAY AFTER LANDING PLEASE, THE PILOT WANTS TO TALK TO YOU PERSONALLY'

FLIGHT ATTENDANT (FA): Excuse me, will you be in a rush after we land?

ME: Yeah, I have a connection to catch, and I'm already running late.

FA: Well, the pilot wants to speak with you after we land.

ME: The pilot? Why? Can't he just tell me now?

FA: I'm afraid not. He wants to tell you in person. I know you're in a hurry, but trust me, you'll want to hear this. You'll regret it if you don't.

When we landed, I stayed in my seat, waiting for this mysterious pilot to appear. As he finally walked into the cabin, I literally dropped my bag and jacket. My jaw just about hit the floor when I saw him.

MY NEIGHBORS TURNED MY LIFE INTO A LIVING HELL

I just wanted a quiet place to live. Found a nice house in a peaceful neighborhood, rented the first floor, and thought I was set. Then the upstairs neighbors moved in—a hardworking single mom and her two teenage sons. Seemed normal enough.

That lasted about two days.

Middle of the night—music blasting. I work early, so I knocked. The older son answered, promised to turn it down. The second I got back to my place? Music got even louder. And then came the stomping.

I complained. Nothing changed. Trash started showing up on my doorstep. Bottles. Junk. I went to the landlord. His response? "Figure it out yourselves."

Fine. I left for a business trip. Came back to a note saying I was the noisy one and was now at risk of eviction.
