Back in ’08 we shot Death By Association, R very first feature film that put Ryda 4 Life Filmz on the map. 💪🏾 Straight outta South Central, this one told the real stories behind them cold streets… the pain, the politics, and the price of that gang life. 💔

The 109th St. Ninna Gang held it down on screen, not glorifying, but testifying, showing how deep the cycle runs and what it costs our people.

By ‘09, we had the city packed out for the premiere and awards, no Hollywood budget, just real heart, real struggle, and real art. 🎬

Almost 20 years later, we still standing tall, storytellin’ for the ones who ain’t here to tell it themselves. 💙

From 109th to the world, we don’t do trendz, we trendsetterz.

This the one that started it all…Death By Association (2008), the film that birthed Ryda 4 Life Filmz and opened doors for a lot of names y’all recognize today. 💯

Shot in the heart of South Central, this story was raw, uncut, and straight from the pavement, showing the truth behind them blue rags, broken dreams, and brotherhood in the struggle. 💙

No fancy studio, no big budget, just passion, purpose, and a squad of hungry talent who believed in the vision. S/o to everyone who helped make this vision come to life. 🙏🏾

Salute to everyone who was part of this movement, this was more than a movie, it was a beginning.
