🚨 Protesters Gather in Milwaukee to Oppose “No Kings Day”

Large crowds gathered this afternoon at Cathedral Square Park and throughout Milwaukee’s Lower East Side, protesting the unofficial observance of "No Kings Day." Demonstrators, holding signs reading "Down With Tyrants!", "People Over Power!", and "This Isn’t a Kingdom!", voiced frustration over what they describe as a growing celebration of authoritarianism and elite control.

Organizers say the protest aims to highlight the dangers of centralized political and economic power, calling “No Kings Day” a mockery of democracy and working-class struggles. Some groups chanted against corporate greed and political corruption, while others advocated for community-based leadership and equality.

Milwaukee Police maintained a noticeable presence throughout the area, rerouting traffic near Jackson Street and Brady Street. So far, the protest has remained peaceful, though tensions flared briefly when a counter-protester appeared with a megaphone supporting the symbolic monarchy message behind “No Kings Day.”

Local activist groups, including Milwaukee Freedom Front and East Side Unity Collective, were seen distributing flyers and organizing speeches from park steps.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS – Milwaukee, WI
📍 June 11, 2025 – Reported by Daniellovesdogs22News

Anti-ICE Protesters Gather Outside Immigration Office Near MSOE Campus

A group of demonstrators was seen protesting this morning outside the immigration office located behind the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) campus in downtown Milwaukee. The protest, organized by local immigrant rights activists, is part of a broader movement calling for the dismantling of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Protesters held signs with messages such as “Abolish ICE”, “No Human Is Illegal”, and “Families Belong Together.” The gathering remained peaceful as demonstrators chanted and marched along the sidewalk under police supervision. Several advocacy groups, including local student organizations, were spotted at the scene.

Traffic was briefly affected in the area, particularly along North Broadway and East Knapp Street. Milwaukee Police and campus security from MSOE were monitoring the situation closely to ensure public safety.

As of now, there are no reports of arrests or confrontations. The immigration office has not yet issued a public statement regarding the protest.
