People wonder how I came into power, but they wouldn't believe me, even if I told it straight to their face. Do you want to know why? It's because at the end of the day... every single person is nothing more than a brain-dead sheep.

I rose to power through lies... I lied as naturally as I breathed. If you want to distract the sheeple from your flaws and misgivings, all you have to do is blame an innocent man.

"He sleeps with children."

"You are guilty of stealing from your own serfs."

"She killed her husband."

And by the time evidence of the contrary comes to surface, it doesn't even matter! People have already moved on... They've consumed the lie as truth, because of their emotional response to it.

You see there's not a single, independent thinker, not one human being capable of genuine, rational thought. Doubt never surfaces to the arrogant and ignorant. And that's what most people are-... arrogant, emotional sheep.

They will happily spread our lies because they couldn't fathom being wrong... It's easier to live with the lie. Some will accuse me of being wrong, of being evil. Yes, perhaps that is true.

But you are nothing more than idiotic hypocrites, claiming to love your family, friends and neighbors while turning them into the State. You'll scream in their face when they tell you the truth! And you will do our bidding...

I ran my platform on kindness, compassion, virtue and justice! I spoke softly, and came down upon the disbelievers with an iron shield. And after I was done, not a single man, woman or child had the courage to speak out against us.

We have outlawed such practices. I have written so many laws and regulations that soon it will be hard for people to breathe and sleep at night. And they will let me do it, either because they are true believers, or because they are afraid.

They should be... They should be.
