For anyone who loves 1911s, myself included, there have recently been released, some new aluminum alloy light rails for classic 1911 platforms! Based on the Surefire MR07 I believe, which allowed you to attach a light rail to your government 1911, via the provided slide release.

Now you can get such replicas via the KOENIG MR.o7 and the MisterSeven light rail add ons! And they're not too expensive, maybe the same price you'd pay for a cheap red dot optic. So far these have proven to be very sturdy and reliable. People seem to love them.

It beats the hell out of a lot of after market polymer parts that either add too much bulk to your 1911, are too fragile and unreliable, or simply look ugly and making cleaning a pain in the ass. But this can be easily be taken off anytime via the slide stop and set screw.

Might get one someday for my Springfield Loaded 1911. It would be nice to have a light rail and flashlight. And cosmetically it looks amazing. It would make cleaning a lot easier, have no effect on the grip, and allows me to keep my favorite custom Cocobolo wood grips. And if I'm not feeling it, I can just take it off!

The new, 112 Panel TAKESHI Web Comic chapter for The Mouth of Hell is done! I just need to get the word bubbles done. Then I'll share it with Patrons on Patreon in full resolution, early access, most likely on this Monday. And we'll do a public release on this Saturday for everyone to enjoy~.

Apologies if you guys don't hear from me much this week. I'll be busy doing some voice over work for a client, getting my teeth treated, and just trying to take it easy. My sleep schedule is also pretty messed up, so I need to get that back in order too. Look forward to this new web comic chapter soon. Worked really hard on it...

Personally I'm pretty big fan of Federal HST. Expands into a beautiful flower. Also does a lot of damage. It's amazing how well developed our defensive hollow point rounds have become. We've come a long way since the Miami Shooting incident. Back then our ammo was certainly a bit lacking...

Nowadays though, you can get almost any defensive cartridge and it'll do the job. Obviously some work better and more reliably than others, but it's always fun to see what they can do. And there's a lot of different types too, filled hollow points, external hollow points, hollow points that fragment and explode, hollow points that cut and tear.

And copper rounds are becoming pretty popular nowadays too. I think I still prefer lead though. It's put down a lot of people all the way back to the Old West. And it's probably my favorite metal element next to silver. What are you guys running in your defensive setup? It's a very personal choice like with any weapon, we like what we like, because we like it. 😆

108 out of 112 Panels done for the new TAKESHI Web Comic for The Mouth of Hell. Sorry for the slow progress guys. These last panels are giving me trouble. Still lots of drawing to do.

Also I think for some reason Facebook restricted our page again. I don't know what's going on with them... It's probably some arbitrary issue with their Meta AI or something.

Not sure if they'll remove the restriction on our page, but we'll see I guess. I've submitted a dispute as this basically came out of nowhere, and honestly doesn't make much sense.

I'll have more progress to report soon. My sleep schedule is very messed up at the moment, so I'm trying to say awake as long as possible. But I'll get some work in, or at least try to.
