Captain Mike Allen first came to Sitka to fish when he was 12. Eleven working seasons later, he now owns and operates Cast Alaska and still has a pretty simple idea of a good day.

My first Yukon moose!

Alaska is truly one of the most incredible places on Earth. This has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I remember watching hunts like this on TV growing up, and at the time it almost felt impossible that I’d ever get to experience it for myself.

My third and final trip to Alaska this season ended up being the best one yet. I’m incredibly thankful for the experiences, the people I’ve met, and the amazing places I’ve been blessed to see this year.

This one is special.

You already know where you’ll be able to watch it 😁

After breakfast at the lodge, we grabbed our gear and headed out to see what we could find in the mountains.

We spent the day hiking, exploring new water, and catching a little bit of everything. Then we made the hike back to the lodge and finished the day with a great dinner!

Good fishing, good food, and views like this… Montana is hard to beat.

This might be the prettiest fish I’ve ever caught!

Just one of the many beautiful trout I caught this week in Montana at the Field & Stream fish camp!

The weather was great, but the food and stay were even better at the Field & Stream Lodge Co.

Luckily Sportsman's Warehouse was right down the road so we were able to gear up and get outside every day.

One of the many beautiful trout we’ve caught this week so far out here in Montana at the Field & Stream fish camp!

The weather has been good, but the food and stay have been even better here at Field & Stream Lodge Co. and with Sportsman's Warehouse right down the road, we’ve had everything we need to gear up and get outside every day.
