In this video, I get within 100 yards of a bedded Maine buck. The buck ended up within 40 yards of me just after shooting light.

The vegetation was too thick to really see much but you can hear him coming through the bushes.

I commonly run into the problem where I set up about 100 yards of bedded swamp bucks, not knowing exactly where they are. They get up 30-40 minutes before quitting time and only move about 50 yards in that time.

To kill these bucks you have to be right on top of them, usually no further than 70 yards from them.
