⚾️ Toms River Elite Baseball Fall 2024 Tryouts – REMINDER!

Tryouts are underway, and we’re excited to welcome new and returning Reapers! Here’s a reminder of the remaining tryout dates for this upcoming fall season. ✅

📌 Reminder: Use your child’s Spring 2025 age (their age as of April 30, 2025) when determining their age group.

If you can’t make your scheduled time, makeup tryouts are set for Monday, July 14th, and private tryouts can also be arranged if needed.

Toms River Elite Welcomes Coach Trevor Coltenback

Toms River Elite is proud to welcome Trevor Coltenback to the Elite family! A recent college graduate with a strong playing and coaching background, Trevor will serve as the head coach of our 12U 2026 team this fall. He will also take on the role of TR Elite’s official catching instructor for the 2025 fall season.

Players looking to improve behind the plate can schedule private catching instruction with Trevor starting this fall — contact us for more information.

If you see Trevor at the fields, be sure to give him a warm welcome to the TR Elite community!

Trevor Coltenback – Baseball Coach Bio

Trevor Coltenback is a passionate and experienced baseball coach with a strong foundation as a high-level player. A graduate of Central Regional High School (Class of 2021), he was a three-year varsity starter and helped lead his team to an Ocean County Tournament Championship.

He continued his career at Ocean County College (NJCAA), earning All-Conference and All-Region honors in 2023. During the summers of 2022 and 2023, Trevor played for Frazier Baseball in the Atlantic Baseball Confederation Collegiate League (ABCCL), where he was named an All-Star in 2022.

Trevor then advanced to Kean University (NCAA DIII), playing in the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He contributed to a powerhouse program that captured a regional and super regional championship, ultimately making an appearance in the 2025 NCAA Division III College World Series.

In the summer of 2024, Trevor gained additional high-level experience competing with the Chillicothe Paints in the Prospect League, one of the nation’s premier summer collegiate leagues.

Defensively, Trevor brings versatility with extensive experience at catcher and all four infield positions, giving him a well-rounded perspective and the ability to coach across the diamond. His deep understanding of the game, leadership qualities, and connection to today’s athletes make him an exciting addition to the TR Elite staff.
