When the news of the week is so heavy ~ and you still can't seem to shake the anger and profound sadness ~ it did my heart good to 'Walk for Miracles" at the Detroit Zoo this morning.

Over two thousand walkers, many wearing superhero capes, helped raise over $115,000 for the Children's Miracle Network and Corewell Health Children's.

What a reminder that we can all be the light in this world ~ the good we so desperately need.

Lauren and I were in Northville this week and met two adorable dogs! Meet Scrunchy (left) & Calvin Hobbs (just chillin')! ☺️ LOVE the names.

So many emotions tonight. We’re officially empty nesters now… or as someone said recently, “bird launchers”. I kind of like that one better.

We spent much of the weekend in Chicago getting Adam all moved into the new apartment he’s sharing with three of his friends. It was so much fun spending time with him and his girlfriend, eating at great restaurants and experiencing the city he’s going to be calling home.

He starts his job in sales tomorrow. We couldn’t be more proud of him! Go get ‘em, Adam. We love you!

There were so many surprise moments at Lauren & Isaac's wedding last weekend. Jason, Ben and I broke some of them down last week on the show. What we didn't touch on in this segment is that my boss showed up at the wrong wedding and put his card in the other couple's card box 🙃, and that my diamond from my wedding ring fell out sometime during Lauren & Isaac's ceremony! 😬 (To be found by my son a little later! Phew!)

As you'll hear, I was blessed to get a special dance with my daughter. Thank you, Joe Maroon for that! And Isaac, oh, can you sing! What an amazing first dance it was. None of us, including Lauren, knew it was coming. (You'll hear part of the Morgan Wallen song he covered about 1:30 into the video 🥰)
