Back in 2018, I Can Only Imagine became a surprise hit at the U.S. box office, debuting at #3 despite going up against blockbuster releases from Steven Spielberg and Marvel Studios.

The film shared part of MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard’s life story, focusing on his relationship with his abusive father and their eventual reconciliation, and it captured the hearts of audiences worldwide.
