This is a new appliqué quilt design I am working on. It’s a project in progress with some added digitizing to be done. I am going to add quilting to the white boarder around the outside of the Eagle blocks. I am also going to make the feather quilting smaller inside the feathers. I also think I am going to change the color of the blue feathers above the head because they blend in with the blue background fabric. The blocks shown are blocks 7, 8, 9, 12,13, and 14 of my entire quilt. There are a total of 25 blocks that I have embroider so ft. The completed quilt size 37”x 37”. This size does not include completed with a binding. I have to embroider the remaining blocks that are not show. I am so excited to complete this for my husband for his birthday. Please help with some additional ideas! Example do I make the beak appliqué or leave it embroidered? Should I use different quilting in the feathers? If there are any digitizers here how do I make a manual appliqué stop with out having it embroider the stop stitching? Thank you so much I am excited for all your suggestions!
