Four people are dead and more than a dozen others injured following a crash involving a van on State Route 11, Tennessee State Troopers report.

A northbound vehicle on Highway 111 in White County lost control, crossed the median, and collided head-on with a van near the O’Conner Road exit. Three people are confirmed dead, and more than a dozen injured.

Emergency crews, including helicopters and Putnam County units, are on scene. Southbound lanes remained closed for several hours.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those affected.
