Many of you have heard the devastating news that Sparta resident Daniel Bachkhaz, age 11, has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of bone cancer. His family has been updated the cancer spread to his lungs, lymph nodes, pelvis, knee, and other parts of his leg. Over the next several months Daniel will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation at Sloan Kettering in New York. Daniel has two siblings, a three month old sister and 8 year old sisters, as you can imagine this will be a big burden on the family, emotional, mentally, physically, and financially.

On November 5th, Daniel’s football team will be having their last football game. There will be a gift card collection at the snack shack throughout the day. Monetary donations, and gift cards to restaurants are greatly appreciated. If you are unable to make the game please consider donating to their gofund me - https://bit.ly/3zi4s4O
