ENDORSEMENT ALERT!!!
Nate Harris, Spartanburg High School Educator and Varsity Football Coach endorses the re-election of JEROME RICE as Mayor of Spartanburg. In his endorsement, he writes, “For more than 35 years, Jerome Rice has been a constant presence and influence in my life. Long before titles and elections, Jerome was about people — about community — about Spartanburg. He’s never wavered from that. His heart has always been with this city and the people who call it home. As a young player back in the 90s, I watched Jerome not only lead but live with integrity. I watched how he took care of his family — one of the first families I ever saw that reminded me of the Huxtables from The Cosby Show. He showed me what family, leadership, and community truly looked like. He’s always showed up, not just during election season. Over the years, he’s taught me countless life lessons — not through speeches, but through the way he carries himself and serves others. He’s been a father figure in my life, and I’m proud to stand with him because I know his heart and his purpose have always been rooted in doing what’s best for Spartanburg. That’s why I’m endorsing Jerome Rice for Mayor. He’s the kind of leader who doesn’t just talk about change — he lives it. Always has. Always will. Please join me in re-electing Jerome as Mayor on November 4th.”
