The journey of self discovery is already tumultuous, least of all for q***r artists. But the journey is revealing and transformative - a transformation that leads to a self-love beyond the constraints of the contemporary world.

Self-love is a radical act for q***r people in a world that demands we change. It’s this love that makes us so beautiful with a profound impact on all those who get to know us.

According to 36% of LGBTQ+ youth have considered doing the unthinkable.

That’s not just a statistic, that’s actual lives. Lives that didn’t choose to have their existence politicized and reduced to debate.

Love is the only force capable of breaking down these social and cultural barriers.

Love Month | VRTY Cultural Documentary Publication

Love is a radical force that breaks down social and cultural barriers.

This June, VRTY Arthouse® is partnering with Uplift Outreach Center and PFLAG Spartanburg to document q***r identity, expression, and love in the 21st century.

Q***r love has always existed explicitly, implicitly, and often in places not traditionally built for us. It’s this existence that makes our identity so beautiful.
