🎶 I’m proud of the work eMusic Studios is doing in Greenville in partnership with Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church

We don’t just teach students to read music—we teach them to hear and understand it through ear training, chord progressions, transitions, and how their instrument fits within the music.

With less than one week to prepare this song, we created an arrangement that matched this young musician’s skill level. She and her parents met me on a Friday afternoon for extra rehearsal, and she did a great job playing with the choir last Sunday.

My goal is to keep teaching until these young musicians no longer need me beside them.

🎶 Learning to hear, recognize, and sing the language of music

In this eMusic Studios class in Nigeria, students are practicing do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do while following their teacher’s direction through the melody.

This activity is part of ear training and helps students develop pitch recognition, vocal accuracy, melodic memory, listening skills, and the ability to recognize when music moves higher or lower.

Exercises like this create the foundation students need for singing, playing instruments, performing together, and becoming confident musicians.

**From our summer camp stage in 2009... to the national stage in 2026.**

As a teacher, there are moments that remind you why you do what you do.

Back in 2009, Taylor Lorin Beemon was one of our students at eMusic Studios Summer Camp in Atlanta. She studied piano, voice, and performance, and embraced every opportunity to learn and grow.

Today, she is proudly representing as **Mrs. Georgia 2026** and preparing for her national competition later this month.
