What do you get when you combine an ARCA winner, a Rolex 24 class winner, a hill climb legend, a Mazda racer, a vintage stock car competitor, and one of the most incredible private racing collections you'll ever see?

You get John Finger.

In this new episode, John invited me into his shop and shared stories from a lifetime spent behind the wheel. We talk about everything from trading his wife's car for a race car, winning an ARCA race in his only start, racing Formula Super Vees, becoming a Mazda dealer and driver, competing in hill climbs, preserving racing history, and much more.

Along the way, he shows off an incredible collection of race cars, trophies, memorabilia, a Kevin Harvick stock car, his Rolex 24 trophy, his Paul Newman collection, and even a $31 winner's check from the early days of his career.

Whether you're a NASCAR fan, sports car fan, hill climb fan, or just love great racing stories, I think you're going to enjoy this one.

Hidden in Marion, North Carolina is the story of a NASCAR-sanctioned track that almost nobody remembers.

Marion Speedway only ran races in 1957 and 1958. Just five car races. One motorcycle race. Then it slowly disappeared and nature took it back.

But in that short time, D**k Widenhouse won there. Banjo Mathews won there. Ned Jarrett and Ralph Earnhardt raced there.

For this episode, I talked with local racing historian Jason Freeman, Lawrence Reel — whose uncle helped found the track — and Harold Wilson, who went there as a little boy before later becoming a racer himself after Vietnam.

This is one of the most obscure lost tracks I’ve ever covered.

Video is live now:

Most racing fans know the DRIVERS…

But very few know the men who BUILT the cars.

Dennis Frings spent decades building race cars for names like Alan Kulwicki, Mark Martin, Darrell Waltrip, Rusty Wallace, Ricky Craven, Terry Labonte and many more. From ASA Late Models to championship-winning NASCAR Busch North cars to sports cars that competed at Daytona, Dennis helped shape an entire era of racing.

In this new long-form interview, Dennis shares incredible stories from his career while showing off his collection of hot rods, replica modifieds, old photos and memories from a lifetime in motorsports.

This is one of those hidden-history stories that deserves to be preserved.

For nearly 40 years, drivers risked everything racing up the mountain at the legendary Chimney Rock Hill Climb.

Thousands of fans packed the roadsides. Records were broken. Cars flew through the curves. And stories were created that still live on decades later.

This is the FULL story of the Chimney Rock Hill Climb (1956–1995).

Featuring interviews with:
šŸ John Finger
šŸ Jerry Kieft
šŸ Wanda & Chuck Cecil
šŸ Rock Webb
šŸ John Hanna
šŸ Larry Parmele
šŸ Historian Ted Theodore

We toured the course, uncovered incredible artifacts, and documented one of the wildest forgotten motorsports events in the Southeast.

This was such a fun video to make and these legendary hill climbers were just amazing to work with. This one means a lot to me. I genuinely believe these stories deserve to live forever.

No words

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

I was recently invited to spend a few days with NASCAR legend Will Cronkrite to film a video on his incredible life.

Long before computers and multi-million dollar race shops, guys like Will were building speed with grinders, notebooks, guts and pure passion.

In this video, Will took me inside his hidden world… from his early days growing up in Michigan… to getting arrested as a young man… to working the 1970 Indy 500… to wrenching for legends like Dale Earnhardt, Donnie Allison, Benny Parsons, Janet Guthrie, W***y T. Ribbs and so many more.

But this story goes far beyond racing.

Will also opens up about the unthinkable loss of his wife and daughter… how racing helped him keep moving forward… and the incredible life he built after NASCAR.

Along the way, he took me back inside his old race shop… and showed me one of the beautiful racecars that helped build his legacy.

This is one of the most important stories I’ve ever had the privilege to preserve.

And if you enjoy Will’s story, please consider supporting him by picking up one of his books from his website: Nascarredneck.com

Let’s show Will how much this history still matters. šŸ‘Š

Most people have never heard her name…

But before women in NASCAR were making national headlines, Angie Wilson was quietly building one of the most impressive careers in Carolina racing.

She raced go-karts against Rodney Childers, won at places like Hickory Motor Speedway, earned poles and Most Popular Driver honors in the Goody's Dash Series and then beat 14 other female racers for what should’ve been a full-season ride in NASCAR.

She was the one.

Then 9/11 happened… and everything changed.

This may be one of the most fascinating ā€œwhat if?ā€ stories I’ve ever documented.

Would mean a lot if you watched, shared, and helped preserve stories like Angie’s for future generations.

On April 1, 1993, Alan Kulwicki left a Ho***rs in Tennessee after an autograph signing, boarded a plane bound for Bristol Motor Speedway… and never made it.

For this episode, I traveled to every major location from Alan’s final night — from the restaurant he left, to the airport he departed from, to the field where the plane went down, and even Bristol, where he was supposed to race that weekend.

Alan was an underdog, a champion, and one of NASCAR’s true originals. This one is less about a race track… and more about honoring a legend.

Would love for you to watch, share, and let me know your memories of Alan in the comments.

I may have just filmed one of the most prolific stories I’ve ever captured for the channel.

I recently spent a day with Mike Hill — a Spartanburg native who started as an 18-year-old crew chief, went on to work for Cecil Gordon, and eventually became one of Junior Johnson’s most trusted guys.

And for really the first time ever… Mike sat down for a public interview about his career.

For over 90 minutes, he shared incredible stories from inside NASCAR’s golden era — championship drama, moonshine-running tales, behind-the-scenes moments at Junior Johnson & Associates, and memories involving legends like Darrell Waltrip, Terry Labonte and more.

But that wasn’t all.

Mike also took me onto the old Johnson property — through Ingle Hollow, past the race shops, Junior’s home, moonshine landmarks, and places where so much history happened.

Honestly… it felt like stepping into a hidden world.

This is exactly why I started this channel — to preserve stories like these before they’re gone.

This one is special.

šŸ‘‡ What’s your favorite Junior Johnson memory or story? I’d love to hear it.
