🌍 Building Global Bridges in Trade and Agriculture 🌱☕
This week, the South Carolina African American Chamber of Commerce (SCAAC) proudly welcomed the Kenyan delegation to South Carolina. The meeting highlighted opportunities to strengthen bilateral trade partnerships—particularly around Kenya’s world-leading tea sector.
Key introductions included:
🇰🇪 Ambassador David Kerich – Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Kenya to the United States
🇰🇪 Chege Kirundi – National Chairman, KTDA Holdings Limited (representing over 650,000 smallholder farmers)
🇰🇪 Cabinet Secretary (CS) Sen. Mutahi Kagwe – Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development
Discussions centered on:
✅ Expanding direct-to-shelf access for Kenyan teas in the U.S.
✅ Building stronger farmer-to-farmer connections between Kenya and South Carolina
✅ Exploring sustainable trade models that empower smallholder farmers and deliver value to U.S. retailers and consumers.
At Redwin Marketing, we are honored to help tell these stories and facilitate opportunities that connect global farmers to U.S. markets. Together, we are building bridges from the slopes of Mount Kenya to Main Street America.
