What’s up with the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety and using the racist ass thin blue line flag and even changing our beautiful Oglala flag to be black and white and have the thin blue line covering our tipis. It’s all over their graphics on social media and on their units. In my experience that image and the rhetoric associated with it is used to shut down Black Lives Matter supporters and draw attention away from the national issue of police brutality which is alive and well in SD and in our Nation.
