Here’s the latest Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service in Indianapolis:

* WHAT - Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible.

* WHERE - Portions of central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana.

* WHEN - From 5:00 this afternoon, Dec. 11, 2025 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025.

* IMPACTS - Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

🎉 Congratulations to our newest NJHS inductees! 🎉

OVMS welcomed 14 outstanding students into the National Junior Honor Society. Their hard work, character, and commitment to excellence truly set them apart!

During the ceremony, our inductees participated in the candle lighting tradition, with five candles representing the five pillars of NJHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship. ✨

We are proud of these students and excited to see the positive impact they will continue to make in our school and community. 💙

Owen Valley High School recently received a $1,000 Board of Directors Mini-Grant from Amber Mullin for their Christmas Light Display, designed and constructed by OVHS students! 💰

Tune into 88.1 FM between the hardware store and Walmart and listen to music synced to the light display! 🎄🎶

Do not leave any valuables in your vehicles! We had someone busting out vehicle windows and stealing purses in our parking lot today between 4:00-5:30pm. A police report has been filed and they’re trying to find the person responsible. Please let us know if you have any information.
