Planned speed limit change on Spencer’s east side.

On or after Monday, October 20, the speed limit will be reduced on S.R. 46 between just east of Crane Avenue and North Fairview Avenue in Spencer. The speed limit will be reduced from 40 mph to 35 mph. This change is intended to improve safety along S.R. 46.

A reminder to Hoosier motorists that it's fall harvesting season. There will be an increased presence of heavy agricultural equipment on Hoosier roadways. The Indiana State Police requests that all motorists exercise patience and caution.
