The last light of Today was found in the orange hue of cool summer day in the Sequatchie valley.
The distinctive feature of the Sequatchie Valley is its straightness. From its northern end to its geological southern end at Browns Valley, the valley is almost perfectly straight. It is over 150 miles long in the geologic sense and about 65 miles long as the valley of the Sequatchie River. Its width is about 3 to 5 miles wide.

Today began on still waters of Center Hill .The lake, which is 64 miles .long, covers an area of 18,220 acres.Center Hill Lake has a storage capacity of 762,000 acre feet of water. The lake has approximately 415 mi of shoreline, with the deepest point at 190 ft .The watershed area for the lake is 2,174 square miles .The lake is well known for water recreation and fishing.
