When did you replace the anode rod in your water heater last? Some areas they only last a few years then the corrosion on the water heater increases exponentially.

In our area in the PNW, they last about 10 years. Replacing the anode rod and managing the scale build up in your water heater, are the two most effective ways to prolong the life of your water heater!
