Nurse: After 24 hours.
Me: Oh, okay. I feel so itchy. I think because I haven’t showered for almost 2 days.
Nurse: That’s normal due to the medication during your operation.

Nobody talks about the guilt you feel when leaving your little one behind even if it was to a trusted person.

Yesterday, my in-laws told me that it’s okay if I spend some time outside the house, they’ll take care of their grandbaby. I was hesitant but I was encouraged, that it will do me good and to not worry about her.

So me, Mikey and the brother-in-law went to take care of Winnie the 🐶. It was fun seeing Winnie but my mind was onto our daughter. Regardless, it is nice to be surrounded by people willing to help. Grateful to have in-laws like them who love our daughter as much as we love her.

When this kind of date becomes a luxury. ❤️

Mikey has learned to check on how I feel from time to time and today I told him I felt bored. Being in the house all the time can become depressing. I love taking care of the little one but the sudden change in life can be overwhelming.

He asked me what he can do to help but he also knew that taking us out of the house is what we needed. We then decided to go to popeyes for dinner but since we can’t risk exposing our little one, we just picked up the food and eat in the car at the parking lot. This may not be much but to a new mom like me, it helps me keep myself sane.

To the husbands out there, learn to check on your wife instead of letting them drown on the responsibility as a mom. Husbands can still have their old life/old routine but the wives often has to sacrifice so much to build the family you both want.

My reaction to our hospital bill before the insurance is applied. 😲😵‍💫

Unsaon nalang kung mao jud ni ang mabill. Mao bitaw nga importante ang naay insurance kay dako jud syag tabang labi na ug mahospital. Akoa goal kay normal delivery ra kay kaya rajud unta kaayo kay gamay si baby but then naa jud mga unforeseen circumstances maong ang ending nac-section intawon arun safe ko ug si baby.
