☄️ SPOKANE, DID YOU SEE THAT?! Early this morning, a massive fireball lit up the sky over Spokane and was caught on security cameras! Reports of the meteor came in from across the Northwest, including Seattle, Portland and British Columbia. Talk about perfect timing—the Perseid meteor shower just hit its peak this week. 🌠🔥 Who else saw it or caught it on camera?! (KREM)

Following her heartbreaking passing at the Ojai Raptor Center, wildlife officials have shared details of the final journey for Jackie, Big Bear’s iconic bald eagle.

After a thorough necropsy performed by the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, her remains were transferred into the custody of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

From there, Jackie’s remains are being transported to the National Eagle Repository at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge near Denver, Colorado. Operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, this unique facility carefully receives, stores, and distributes bald and golden eagle remains, feathers, and other parts to enrolled members of federally recognized Native American tribes for traditional, religious, and cultural ceremonies.

At the end of the day, Jackie will continue to influence and educate.

A huge THANK YOU to U-Haul for stepping up when our community needed it most. ❤️ From giving us a place to organize and distribute supplies to providing resources and support that helped us get those supplies where they needed to go, you made a real difference for families affected by the Spokane fires. This is what community looks like—businesses, volunteers, and neighbors coming together to take care of each other. We truly appreciate everything U-Haul has done to support Spokane during this disaster. 🙏🔥❤️

Still kind of surreal seeing Just Josh on TMZ talking about Sydney Sweeney being here in Spokane. 🙌 I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to give our city a voice and help shine a national spotlight on what our community is going through. Spokane has shown up in a HUGE way—neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers stepping up, businesses donating, and people coming together when it matters most. If I can use my platform to make sure those stories are heard, I’m proud to do it. ❤️ Thank you, Spokane, for trusting me to help tell our story.
