When you enter the space, it’s a phone free zone (normally) but you are welcome to share an image from the business’ social to let other people know about what a wonderful place it is! We were lucky enough to visit on a day they are normally closed so that we could show you everything. 🫶🏻

Something I’ve been really bad about lately is planning time to chat with friends, and I am so grateful to have gotten to spend the afternoon with these wonderful women. If you don’t already follow them, you should! .alexandra and .houseofsocial are gems. 💎

🏆 The hill I will die on - the best burger in Spokane right now is at . 🔥 This beauty had my jaw on the floor with how unbelievably perfect it is. Juicy patties. Melty cheese. Vibrant pickles. Light, flavorful slaw with just the right amount of creaminess and tang in perfect balance. Golden toasted house-made bun. I mean, come on. If you’ve tried it, you know. 🤤 Tag a friend who NEEDS THIS. 100/10.

Bonus points for subbing the fries out for the absolutely spectacular spring salad that’s on the menu right now. I need the recipe. 🥹🥗🙇‍♀️

I know, I know… Durkins has had our top spot for three years, but this one snuck by it by mere millimeters and I can’t stop thinking about it. Will I still gleefully eat a Durkins burger? ABSOLUTELY. Still a strong 9.9 out of 10 for me.

I just realized that I need to update my top burgers in Spokane list. 😅 Is there a different one in town I need to know about? 🤔

De-influencing your feed - how was your long weekend? What did you do? I had plenty to catch up on at home and with the business, so I spent it “enjoying my mortgage” and the absolutely spectacular weather. Don’t you just love it when the temperature is perfect no matter what you’re wearing? 😍

What I got up to:

A couple of months ago ago, our patio table shattered and I finally found one that I loved on Facebook marketplace. Aluminum and zero maintenance FTW!

I also finally managed to get my thrift store fountain cleaned up and working with a new pump, and it is a whole vibe. My backyard basically feels like a tiny Manito Park and I’m loving it. 🥹

I also got a little bit of weeding done, and enjoyed all of my cumulative effort from creating a water-wise garden in the front yard thanks to and - two of my favorite places to get xeric plants that survive and thrive in our hot summers.

I also had a ton of business paperwork to do, and cranked away at that while I enjoyed the perfect ambiance in the backyard. Total win for WFH vibes.

At the end of the weekend, we went to my parents house in Post Falls for dinner and got some flowers planted for my mom. It was so nice to catch up with them.

I hope that wherever you are, you had a peaceful weekend filled with the people you love. 💕
