I’m loving how the pieces from Hearth & Hand combine honey wood tones, and other earthy colored textiles, complete with tons of texture and depth!

The new fall collection from Studio McGee at Target also has such stunning pieces. The warm olive and rust hues look beautiful together!

The best part is that all of these finds are from Target so they’re budget friendly!

Here are some easy formulas for layered bed pillows to aesthetically span the width of each bed size without looking too bulky! 🤎

Pro tip - Tossing a throw blanket over the foot of your bed is also a great way to incorporate more texture and color to your bed. 🛏️

Everyone wants their house guests to feel as cozy and welcome in their home as possible! So, I wanted to share some of my favorite guest bedroom (& bathroom) prep tips with you! Sharing this info now gives you plenty of time to prepare your hosting space for hosting season! 🤍

Declutter

Before all the detailed preparation takes place, take everything out of the guest room that doesn’t belong in there! Same goes for the guest bathroom if you have one.

Bed Prep

• coordinating sheet set
• double up duvet inserts inside the duvet cover
• decorative throw pillows
• multiple pillow options for guests to sleep on
• drape a throw or quilt on the food of the bed
• add a basket with waters, chocolate & mints

Bathroom Prep

• spare toiletries (coordinating)
• top up soap dispenser or new bar of soap

Additional Room Prep

• ensure that there’s have a cozy place to sit
• wooden hangers in a tidy or empty closet
• laundry basket for guests dirty clothes
• double up curtains (sheet layer & blackout layer)
• linen spray just before guests arrive

In true autumn spirit, I of course had to bring back this DIY! 👻

Ready to get in the spooky mood? This simple and easy fall craft uses minimal supplies and doesn’t take much time to make! It looks sleek and modern and brings a cozy, warm glow during spooky season.

Grab some air dry clay from any craft store, I used Crayola’s air dry clay.

Roll a large chunk of clay flat (on top of a large piece of Glad Cling Wrap) as if rolling out cookie dough.

Next, tape a small ball to the top of an upside down red Solo Cup. Cover this drying stand with some Glad Cling Wrap to avoid your ghost from sticking while it dries!

Cut the perimeter of your flattened clay into an (imperfect) circular shape.

Then lift the clay circle by the Glad Cling Wrap underneath and gently drape it over your solo cup drying stand. Gently press clay down around cup, creating drape like curves.

Puncture three holes for eyes and a mouth using a straw (use your creative freedom to give the ghost its own personality).

Wait 2-3 days for air dry clay to fully dry. Gently lift ghost off the stand. Leave your ghost with an organic clay finish or customize it with paint.

Find a cute place to display your ghost & place a battery operated tea light candle underneath (opt for a battery operated candle to avoid overheating the clay with a real flame, I linked my favorite ones)!
