God never sleeps, so you can.

Whatever felt heavy today —
Give it to Him.
Whatever felt unfinished —
Trust it to Him.

His angels watch over you.
His peace covers you.
His mercy is new when you wake.

Sleep well. You’re safe.
You’re loved. You’re His.

THE WARNING LIGHT ⚠️

Genesis 4:7 – “Sin is crouching at your door; it desires you, but you must rule over it.”

This is God talking to Cain.
Before the murder. Before the fallout.
He gave him a warning.

Sin doesn’t kick the door down.
It crouches. It waits. It whispers.
“You deserve to be mad.”
“Nobody sees you.”
“Just one compromise.”

Cain ignored the warning.
And one choice wrecked his family.

Brother, sister — check your door.
What’s been crouching lately?
Anger? Lust? Envy? Bitterness?

God didn’t say “good luck.”
He said “YOU must rule over it.”
You’ve got the authority.
You’ve got the warning.
Now make the choice.

Don’t let a moment of silence with sin
become a lifetime of regret.

REVELATION 1:18 — HE HOLDS THE KEYS 🔑

John saw Jesus. Not weak. Not dead.
Eyes like fire. Voice like thunder.
“I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!”

Then He said: “I hold the keys of Death and Hell.”

That means this:
1. Your past can’t hold you.
2. Your fear can’t bind you.
3. Your future isn’t locked.

He’s not in the grave.
He’s on the throne.
And He’s coming back.

If Jesus is alive, your hope is alive.
If He holds the keys, you’re already free.

HIDING FROM GOD 🍃

Genesis 3:8 – “They hid from the Lord God among the trees…”

First sin. First instinct?
HIDE.

Adam heard God coming… and ran.
We still do it today.

Mess up? We hide behind work.
Feel shame? We hide behind church.
Hurt? We hide behind “I’m fine.”

But here’s the truth:
You can’t hide FROM God.
You can only hide IN God.

Psalm 32:7 – “You are my hiding place.”

God wasn’t hunting Adam to punish him.
He was calling him to heal him.
“Where are you?” wasn’t anger.
It was invitation.

Stop hiding behind leaves.
Step out from the trees.
His grace is bigger than your guilt.

THE RIVER 🌊

Genesis 2:10 – “A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden…”

Before sin. Before struggle. Before hustle.
God set up a RIVER.

Not a drip. Not a puddle.
A FLOW.

He doesn’t want you thirsty in the place He planted you.
He waters what He plants.

Stressed? Dry? Running empty?
You weren’t made to grind for every drop.
You were made to live by the river.

Psalm 1:3 – Planted by streams of water.
John 7:38 – “Rivers of living water will flow from within.”

Stop chasing. Start flowing.
Get back to Eden. Get back to the River.
His presence is the source.

WHY 1 TREE WAS OFF-LIMITS? 🌳

Genesis 2:16-17
“You may eat from ANY tree… but NOT this one.”

Why did God put 1 tree He didn’t want touched?

1. LOVE NEEDS CHOICE
No choice = no love. Just robots.
God wanted sons, not slaves.

2. TRUST NEEDS A TEST
The tree wasn’t about fruit.
It was about “Do you trust Me more than your eyes?”

3. FREEDOM NEEDS BOUNDARIES
100% freedom = chaos.
Real freedom has fences.

What are we learning?
God gave Adam 99 “yes” trees and 1 “no.”
Satan made him focus on the 1 “no.”

Lesson:
The enemy still does it today.
Makes you blind to 99 blessings
Because of 1 restriction.

Your “don’t touch” is not punishment.
It’s protection.

“WORK TO EAT” & “PAIN TO GIVE BIRTH”
WHAT DID GOD MEAN? 🤔

Genesis 3:16-19

TO ADAM: “By sweat you will eat”
Sin didn’t take your food.
It took your ease.
Now blessing requires sweat.

TO EVE: “Pain in childbirth”
Sin didn’t stop your fruit.
It added pain to it.
Now purpose has labor pains.

Lesson:
The curse made hard what God made easy.
But Jesus wore the thorns.
He took the curse so you can rest.
