Sharing to uplift! 💪 One thing we love about Spokane is that we come together to care for each other.

If you or someone you know needs food, our friends at RANGE, Waters Meet Foundation, and SCAR Spokane have created a resource map to show where you can get food resources in seven counties, three Sovereign Tribal Nations and beyond. There's also a “Give Support” tab on the left side of the map so that anyone can see where they can help, donate, or share resources.

Another great community resource is the Women & Children's Free Restaurant. Give them a follow to find out details about their distributions! 🧡

Our community is facing a food crisis. We created a comprehensive map of all the resources in our region, so you can find the nearest food pantries, community organizations and restaurants offering free food closest to you.

Thanks Inland Northwest Land Conservancy for introducing Megan & Danielle, new in strengthening local food systems, restoring local ecosystems, and rocking some awesome and Hidden Acres Orchards garb while gabbing on camera! All in a day's work....

Hi all! Leah here. I'm honored to share that I'll be reading my poem, The Rivers We Call Home, at this year's Spoken River event on Thursday, 11/13! My poem is about the rivers that have raised me - from the Susquehanna to the Spokane - and the internal waters that guide us all.

Spokane! Tomorrow is the last day that you can drop off your ballot. We've been hearing from several sources that you shouldn't try to mail yours in this late, so stop by your local library to find a ballot box!

Last year's "Mi voto. Mi voz." campaign created with MiA - Mujeres in Action was an inspiring display of partnership in advocacy for language access and civic engagement - we're resharing one of our favorites, featuring voices like Tia from Asians for Collective Liberation in Spokane, to encourage everyone to make your voices heard this election! ✨📣

🗳️ Voting should be accessible for all registered voters - and it was this time last year that our local voter's guide was made available in Spanish for the first time ever, thanks to Mujeres in Action, partnered with the Spokane County Elections Office.

Did you know the original tarot art was created by a woman? Pamela Colman Smith isn't credited in the name of the traditional Rider-Waite tarot deck, but she designed each of the 78 cards. Inspired by her, the archetypes in the Major Arcana, and the artwork of our beloved studio deck by Lisa Sterle Comics & Illustrations, your Rogue Heartians dressed up as 🧳 the Fool, 🏍️ the Chariot, and ⚖️ Justice.

Special shout out to Janessa, our very own 🌝 High Priestess, who couldn't make it to the shoot but who was there in spirit for this scrappy little studio session!

You know we're going to find the snacks! 🍰 We had so much fun at Spokane Colleges Foundation's President's Reception on Thursday, and the food was (of course) amazing! What a great event celebrating our community college's students and the supporters who believe in & uplift them. And it was wonderful to hear from Amanda (final pic), as she pursues a BAS in Integrated Behavioral Health, earning enough Foundation scholarships to dodge student debt completely! 🎉🙌 She's amazing.
