Quieting on social media these past two weeks has helped us show up more fully in other spaces. Time together in our chosen communities has been what's filled our cups during this time of challenge in our favorite city.
Through these events and the miracle that 60,000+ people were safely evacuated from such fast moving fires that consumed so much... we are reminded that looking out for our neighbors is key, and loving them is a gift. 🧡

🧡 Feast World Kitchen, feeding folks so generously as curbside donated meals and at their Longest Table event
🧡 Our Emerson-Garfield Neighborhoodcouncil, hosting potlucks and musical gatherings that kept us connected to our joy
🧡 Our nonprofit member-based groups like EWI of Spokane, Urban Art Coop , and Meet on Monroe that keep community impact initiatives & creativity alive even in times of crisis.
We hope you and yours are well and feeling supported, that you are spending time with the kind people in your neighborhood and networks as we all collectively navigate what has been lost and what remains to be recovered and healed over time.
