The March issue of The Pulse came out on Friday, which means it's time to start wrapping up the end of the year!

If you're curious to see how The Pulse produces an issue from start to finish, join us in the Library basement tonight at 5pm (with pizza!) to talk to current writers and designers about what it's like to be a part of our team. If working with us sounds interesting to you, we would love to have you join us for these next few weeks as we put together our Senior issue. There's no need for experience, we'll teach you everything you need to know!

Hope to see you there!

Spring Arbor Community,
It has come to our attention that our article “The Future of Muffitt and Ormston” on page 8 of this month’s issue consistently misspelled “Muffitt” as “Muffit.” The error was overlooked in our production sessions and was printed with the errors. We apologize for our mistake, and will be correcting the online version of the article.
Thank you to the individuals who alerted us to the issue.

The freedom to choose their ending is a luxury that not many people have. While the issue may be broad and reach across the globe, Jackson county and Spring Arbor University (SAU) students and staff are working to stop the cycle.

The next issue of The Pulse drops in 27 days, which means winter holidays!

Did you celebrate a tradition you can trace back through generations? Did your family do something no one else you knew did? Did you grow up in a family that didn't celebrate Christmas? We'd like to know about it!

If you have something you'd like to share about your holiday traditions, send us a message with a brief description, and you could be a part of a feature story in our December issue!

To anyone and everyone who has even the slightest involvement or affiliation with Spring Arbor University:

You can take down the posters, and you can think your own thoughts... but we still exist. I am no longer on campus, because of how I identify, but there are others. Many others. If you identify as LGBTQ+, know you are not alone. Know that you are loved, and just as important as those who identify as heterosexual. I'm here if you need someone. Go follow on twitter. Love is love. Be kind to one another today.
Hey all,

I'm the editor-in-chief of "The SAU Pulse."

I'm leaving as a graduating senior this year and I stumbled across your facebook group back in September when I was researching Title IX.

I've been working on a new project-- hosting narratives of current LBGT students at SAU in both the print and online editions. We've had some wonderful feedback and I thought you all may be interested in seeing what going on. The paper just dropped on campus and online today.

I prefaced the narratives in my Editor Goodbye here: http://thesaupulse.com/2015/05/01/editor-goodbye-introduction-to-the-lbgt-feature/

After that, go to the regular home page: thesaupulse.com and read through the brave narratives of current LBGT SAU students. I think you'll be as proud of them as I am!
You guys ever consider holding mock elections and then publishing the results in the last issue of the school year? I think it would be pretty awesome! :)

Hey, check out the recorded pieces from the most recent storytelling event!
When it gets later on production night we just run out of thoughts...hence the 'no signal.'
I was studying, and thus I needed to find something less productive to do, so I created the meme that's been in my head for months. enjoy.
