Southeast Minnesota’s unofficial classical music month is underway through August. 🎼🎶🎵

In addition to the Apollo Music Festival opening this coming weekend (see story on our website), concerts presented by the 2026 Stringwood Chamber Music Festival are scheduled for this week and next.

Stringwood performances take place primarily in Lanesboro (mostly at the Sons of Norway lodge, pictured below), with additional concerts held in Chatfield, Winona, Northfield and Spillville, Iowa.

For additional details, check out Stringwood’s events on Root River Current’s Local Events Calendar (link in the comments).
