you wasted your twenties and thirties being pregnant and having babies”

actually didn’t.

I didn’t miss out on anything.
I found my purpose earlier than most people do.
I didn’t need the late-night partying
my nights were already full, of baby snuggles, quiet moments, and the kind of love that changes everything.

I didn’t lose myself
I found new pieces of me
the kind that only grow through sleepless nights and tiny hands holding yours

I didn’t waste my twenties or thirties
I spent them becoming
someone softer, stronger, more rooted in love than I ever knew possible.

this wasn’t a pause in my life
this was the becoming of the most beautiful part of life.

A mother is always a mother. She never stops worrying about her children, even when they are all grown up and have children of their own.

🌿 Happy Father’s Day in Heaven 🌿

To my beloved husband, the man who was my partner, my protector, my best friend… and to the father of our children —
Today, like every day, we remember you. We feel the weight of your absence and the warmth of your presence all at once.

You were taken from us far too soon, and there’s no way to truly prepare for a life without someone who meant so much. But even though you’re no longer physically here, your love still surrounds us. I see it in the faces of our children. I feel it in quiet moments of reflection. I hear your voice in the lessons you left behind — about resilience, about loyalty, about love.

You were the kind of father who made your children feel safe and proud. You taught with your actions more than your words. Your strength was quiet but unwavering. Your love was constant, and your commitment to family never wavered, not even in your hardest moments. You always showed up — for me, for them, for all of us.

This Father’s Day, we don’t have you here to hold or laugh with. But we hold onto the memories. The way you smiled when the kids ran into your arms. The way you’d sit at the table, offering advice that didn’t always come easy, but always came from your heart. The way your presence brought peace to the home we built together.

It hurts to celebrate you through tears instead of laughter, but we celebrate you all the same. Because you deserve to be honored, not just today — but every day. Your life was a blessing. Your love is still our anchor. Your memory is something we carry in everything we do.

I know you’re watching over us. I know you’re proud of the strength we’ve found — the same strength you instilled in us. And even though some days feel impossible without you, we keep going. For you. Because that’s what you would’ve done. Because your story isn’t over — it lives on in us.

To the love of my life:
Thank you for being the incredible father and man that you were. Thank you for the love we shared, the family we created, and the legacy you left behind.

We miss you more than words can say.
We love you more than time can measure.
And we’ll honor you for the rest of our lives.

💔 Happy Father’s Day in Heaven. 💔
Forever remembered. Forever missed. Forever loved.

When I closed my eyes to sleep that night
I did not know I would wake in the morning
and you would not

As I closed my eyes to sleep that night
I did not know you would take your last breath
and your beautiful heart would stop beating

As I closed my eyes to sleep that night
I did not know that the truth of that
day had eluded me,
and I lived that day with a profound
unawareness of the irreversible life
shattering change that was about
to take place

As I closed my eyes to sleep that night
I did not know the sun had set on your last day

As I closed my eyes to sleep that night
I did not know

Being a Grandma”
They say becoming a parent changes everything… but becoming a grandma? That’s a whole new kind of magic.

It’s watching your baby become a parent and realizing how far you’ve both come. It’s tiny hands wrapped around your finger and a heart that somehow grows even bigger than you thought possible.

Being a grandma isn’t just about spoiling and snuggles it’s about legacy. Love passed down. Stories shared. Lessons whispered between giggles.

It’s the sweetest chapter I never knew my heart needed.

I remember being a teenager, dreaming about the future with my best friends.

We used to say, “When I have a baby, you’re gonna be their auntie.”
We talked about our futures like we’d always be side by side helping each other raise our kids, doing life together.

But then I actually became a mom… and everything changed.

The texts slowed down.
The check ins stopped.
The people who swore they’d be there just… weren’t.

And it hurts. Not in a bitter way, just in a quiet, unexpected way.

Motherhood has shown me who’s really here.
Who shows up. Who asks how I’m doing. Who loves my baby like they said they would.

And I’m learning to let go without anger. To grieve the friendships that didn’t grow with me.

Because sometimes, outgrowing people is part of becoming the version of you that your child deserves.
