This is Frank Mundus, the man who inspired the Capt. Quint character in "Jaws". He was known as a "monster hunter" and his clients took what was likely the largest great white sharks ever. In his latter years he became a shark conservationist and was one of the first proponents of using circle hooks for sharks.
