So a couple days later and this is what we've got. Can now sprint and attack and there is a weapon system behind the scenes that loads weapons into the right and left hands. Although the left will be used for shields, the sword was for testing. Working on the HP and Stamina now so the next thing you will see from me is combat with an Enemy. Very exciting isn't it?

Not Game related but this is something I care a lot about. The MONSTER Zero Ultra energy drink is my favorite. I'd call it an addiction. I love the drink a lot. I found these half size cans at the dollar store and was so excited because I only drink a half a can a day and have to refrigerate the other half, losing some flavor. I usually get the can with the screw cap because of this. But anyway, these small size dollar store ones ARE NOT THE SAME. It is completely entirely totally different. It does not taste at all like the normal sizes, in fact it tastes pretty BAD. I don't know what they did or why they did it but they put a different version of MONSTER in the small cans. I am so disappointed by this and I genuinely want to know. Why did you do This? Why did you put something else in the smaller cans but still label it the same? It's such a huge letdown.. shame on you..

Despite how Goblin Puncher turned out. I had so much fun with 3D Development that I spent the last 2 full days learning how to do this... move and roll lol.. I'll be the first to say that 3D Development is at LEAST 10x harder than 2D Development. Models and Animations and all that is still turning my brain to oatmeal.

But I've been spurred on and I'm motivated to make a 3D A-RPG for fun. I'll be developing it alongside of SideScroll. It will mostly just be a game that I enjoy and have fun playing, I won't be focusing on making money or making sure players enjoy it. This 3D RPG is solely for my personal enjoyment. If it turns out other people like it too, then heck yeah awesome. I expect development to progress very quickly over the rest of the week and to be working on level design by the end of next week.

This is just the most recent and easiest to fix regarding the Goblins. I am getting really fed up and so frustrated with everything about the goblin enemy. They don't want to do anything right and just want to cause me pain and misery... still have like 4 days left in this . Gonna pull through and come out on top I promise you that!!! 💪💪💪👍👍👍

Something I'm working on for a with a previous collaborator doing the audio(no sound yet as he's working on it)

The Jam theme is ""You're the best"" so we decided on a SuperHero , since I only have medieval assets it's gonna be a game lol. It's a nice break from for the week and a learning experience dealing with and all of it's immense and innumerable issues...

Among other things, we now have in-air attacks and our first combo! Also brought back the attack wave and fixed bugs with it(obviously not the weird height difference from left and right) A lot has been done so look out for the next SideScroll Devlog coming soon!

We also have some really great news! The Voice Actor who we were using for the Player attack sound is likely going to become the Official voice of the character! We won't have anything definitive to share or show until next week, but we are looking forward to bringing Vesovian(the name of the PlayerCharacter) to life with a voice!

So this is the Day1 prototype. Blue upgrades to double bullet, red increases move speed, green increases fire rate of bullets. Tomorrow we will implement enemy AI, firing bullets and advancing downwards. As well as another enemy type that launches a disc which sends bullets out in all 360 degrees. I'm pretty excited about this one. Looking to hopefully have a Public Beta version for testing late February!
