Random thoughts from T: As things in the world get worse and things in life get more & more trying, the more my thoughts turn to Heaven. I was thinking about what it will be like when we get there, and the thought came to me… as beautiful as many places I’ve seen here on this earth may be, Heaven will be thousands of times better. When Dave and I went to Mazatlan Mexico on our 20th anniversary, it was so beautiful staying by the ocean, and the sunsets every night were so beautiful I literally cried. I never wanted to leave. The sound of the ocean at night was the best way to fall asleep. We lived in Dave’s home state of Colorado for 8 years, the beauty of the Mountains surrounding Colorado Springs, the majestic views from Pikes Peak, all of it so absolutely gorgeous. Many places in my home state of Missouri are breathtaking, lakes and rolling hills, especially when the colors change in the fall… but how much more beauty and majesty will be in Heaven? SO MUCH MORE. Our human mind cannot even fathom. Add to that the absolute peace and joy we will feel, how could anyone NOT want to go there? Nothing on earth can even compare. As the old worship song says: “I’m going where the Lamb is the light” my whole heart and soul longs to be with my Jesus forever where there is joy without end. Oh my friend, don’t you want to be there too? No small temporary pleasure here on this earth is worth missing out on Heaven. If the Lord were to come back today, would you be ready? Get ready, He’s coming sooner than you think, and I want to rejoice with you in Heaven. 🙏🏼
