Be aware, there are scammers operating tax resolution scams by calling random numbers. They have a recorded message claiming that this is there final attempt to contact you to resolve your tax debts. I have no tax debts or issues. I connected through to talk to someone and when I got someone on the line I informed them I am a former IRS agent. Click!!
Legitimate tax resolution firms, such as my own, will not call randomly, and in fact seldom call people. We get plenty of clients without having to pursue via telemarketing. If someone calls you claiming that they can solve your tax problems, and you actually have problems, don't fall for it.
Fact is, even with the best of us, chances are you won't have all your tax debt eliminated, but we can work to reduce it. Once in a while we can get the full amount eliminated, but that is the exception. And a legitimate resolution specialist will be upfront with you about this.
