Reports say an extremist group is considering opening a "whites-only" community in the Springfield area. In a statement released July 29, the Springfield City Council and City Manager David Cameron condemned the alleged proposal.

If you think you know some history about the writings of columnist Steve Pokin, you just might win two tickets (worth $32) to the History Museum on the Square, as well as a grand prize of $100. For 20 Mondays, the Springfield Daily Citizen will post a quiz question here about Pokin's columns and news stories at the Daily Citizen.

The first correct answer posted wins two tickets to the museum. You can win multiple times. In fact, the person with the most wins after 20 weeks gets a $100 gift card from the Daily Citizen. In case of a tie, the $100 will be distributed among the winners. You can't win if you're a Daily Citizen employee or related to one, especially if you're Steve Pokin's wife.
