Today’s “Summer Spotlight” Chamber member is the Springfield Advance-Press.

To be entered into the drawing for $600.00 in Chamber Bucks, simply comment 🔸ONCE on THIS post🔸(likes DO NOT count). One comment = one (1) drawing entry (limit one comment per person per daily post for entry into the drawing).

Entry forms will be published in the Springfield Advance Press the week of August 12th. One completed entry form = 2 drawing entries. Completed entries must be dropped off at the Chamber Office (east side of the Springfield Area Community Center) or the Springfield Advance Press by Friday, August 28, 2026 by 5 pm.

The promotion runs from Monday, August 3, 2026 to Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Road Closures at Burns and Washington Crossings

Beginning Friday, July 17, Burns Ave. will be closed at the railway crossing while crews remove and replace the crossing planks. The road is expected to remain closed through Tuesday, July 21.
Once work at Burns Ave .is complete, crews will move to the Washington Road railway crossing to replace the planks there. That project is expected to take a few days.
Please plan an alternate route and use caution near the work areas.
