The most important things in life are built.

I built my marriage.
I built my family.
I built my reputation.
I built my confidence.
I built my integrity.
And I built every relationship I have with my friends.

I didn’t buy those things.
I didn’t steal them.
I didn’t shortcut my way to them.

I built them.

And that’s what we need to be teaching young America again

Be builders of life, not just consumers of it.

Nothing worth having comes preassembled or easily. Hard work is required to build a happy life.
