Dog brothers from different dog mothers. ❤️❤️❤️🐶🐶🐶
The whole reason I’m still working this gig is for these moments. Being part of something bigger than myself and playing a small part in the creation of music that will move and inspire people. Every time hires me I’m so much better for the experience.
There’s a lot to recommend about the new documentary Until the Wheels Fall Off. Soundtrack included.
I wanted to be a drummer because of and Chester Thompson. They were the first concert I ever saw and the magic of that night stuck around permanently, the way rock music can stick to the young and outcast. Knowing this would be the end of the ride, I followed them as far as I could to say goodbye and give thanks for a lifetime of music and inspiration. Six shows, four cities and two continents later, I’m still not ready for it to be over. That said, to spend some precious time with my cousin Erik in NYC and again in the country of our ancestors is something I’ll never forget.
We’re super proud of and their participation in this year’s awards. They’ll be performing at the awards show on 3/26. It’s always such a pleasure to see our city so well represented by amazing artists and the hard work that’s going into supporting them.
Great interview with Rachel Kline over at A DC Journey. Give it a look!

Action Park - You Must Be This Tall To Die
If you wanted to be someone that was there for the Descendants in the very beginning, Action Park is now giving you that chance. It’s all there with this record–punchy riffs, crisp drumming, dueling vocal styles, quick bass licks, and most importantly…some spot-on harmonies! For a debut record...
got the call to do the new 7” box set. Half of Minor Threat came by to make sure it went according to plan. and I played it cool but, you know, it was one of those experiences you keep close.

Menathan Street Band is good Sunday business. Another great snag
This is in our house.
maintenance crew is basically like Reed Richards had a baby with Otto Octavius but somehow smarter. They’re installing the Pheenix Alpha presses we swapped with up in the D. It’s so cold in the D.
Viggo agrees that crushed it on drums yesterday New vinyl in 2022 on

It’s been a wild ride, 2021. You were a cheeky devil but you made us a better company
Day shift pressing all dressed up for the holidays 🎄🕎😝 This is an amazing crew and watching them in action is a joy. They’ve been through a lot over the last two years, as we all have. There’s no working from home in manufacturing. There’s nobody coming to save the single owner company if it fails. This crew and many others put our vinyl pirate ship on their backs and pulled us through. I’m proud and grateful to work with the folks here. .i.ll.i.g
last night in NYC. It’s hard to explain how amazing this show is but each time it takes me back to so many memories that this music punctuated. Also, is just gnarly.
I sure do love We’ve logged a bunch a holiday seasons together and I’m grateful for each one. Might ask for glasses that are straight this year.
So, it only took three sessions but just wrapped drum tracking for the first single from my new band, I just love these so much. Thanks again to for getting this signature snare sounding so beast. Hope to have the tune out by New Year.
New .jocelyn single is out today and streaming. I tracked lead vocals in Studio B and did a stellar job mixing. What a pleasure to work with this team again! Merry 🎄!!!
My first concert ever was at the Cap Centre in 1986. For 13 year me, it was totally transformative. To be in the same building with these people who’s music I absorbed in my room seemed utterly impossible. Genesis taught me how to play drums - day after day practicing to In the Cage and Afterglow. Last night in DC was an emotional show for the old me. So much has happened between now and then and a lot of it goes back to that night in Largo, MD. And, man, do I ever miss being in a band. Like a thing that is essential is always missing. Anyone need a drummer? Can play both and Chester Thompson’s parts 😜
got these snare drums back into playing shape after several years of tough living. Check out his awesome work on these Master series, Starphonic and Anton Fig signature snare. Each of these drums is monster in their own way and Chris has made them speak at full voice again. Thanks!
My favorite discovery of the last 18 months - Last night Also the loudest thing I’ve ever been in the same room with - which is saying something at this point. Mercifully sell earplugs at merch table.
