We don’t give a schnitzel… we’re just here for the steins! 🍻Talk about a pitcher perfect day at Ok2berfest!

While Jeff may not have taken home the bratwurst-eating crown (top 4 ain’t bad though!), the brews and games were such a blast.

Some favorites on tap:
🍺 Ok2berfest Märzen Lager: lots of toffee, caramel and brown bread notes with a floral finish (5.8% ABV)
🍺 No Limits Hefeweizen: a true delight that brings wheaty and bready vibes followed up by cloves.

Xaden Riorson may be dark and broody, but this pumpkin beer is all light and pure fall perfection. 🍂🍺

Had the best time repping Basgiath with at ’s Grown up Book Fair, bonus points that it lined up with a seasonal brew on tap! 🎃

The Grim Harvest Pumpkin Ale (5.8% ABV) is crisp, light-bodied, and packed with those cozy fall beer notes I love. And yes, it can come with the cinnamon-sugar rim!

Bookish question for my fellow readers: if Violet and Xaden walked into Dudley Town Brewing what would they order? My money’s on Violet sipping an Altar of the Damned (girlie loves a citrus moment 🍊), while Xaden is definitely reaching for Death of a Saint!

Sipping the last rays of summer like your friendly neighborhood vampire 🦇

Today’s the last day for extra special Disney summer drinks, and I cannot wait to see their Fall line up!

Jeff wouldn’t stop shouting GET OUTTA MY SWAMP after ordering the Shrek Love Potion (Monson Apple vodka, blue curaçao & lime lemonade) 💚

I kept it sweet with Pooh’s Honey Pot 🍯 (Cortland apple spice wine, honey & apple juice in a the cutest honey bear!)

For flights: you can pick 3 wines + 2 spirits do NOT miss the cider donut bourbon whiskey 🍩 It is truly a treat and early taste of fall.

Can’t wait to come back for pumpkin wine and pick your own apples! Tag your fall-drink buddy and save this for your spooky season bucket list 🍎✨

beer Project (📍 Hartford, CT) is a cool brewery + eclectically fun taproom dedicated to brews steeped in tradition.

On the menu you’ll find clean, crisp lagers, refreshing weissbiers, and some funky surprises on the board (the smoked corn lager🌽🔥 is a must try).

Once upon a 90s afternoon I was jamming to Hanson on cassette in my parents’ living room.

Fast forward to 2025 and now I’m jamming to them live, with a hazy IPA in hand.

Jackpot Juice by 🎰is the perfect summer sipper brewed in collaboration with . This 5.8% ABV delivers juicy citrusy orange notes with very little bitterness, truly a bop. 🍊

Sit. Stay. Sip. 🐾🍺 Enzo’s got the commands down pat!

We celebrated his 8th birthday with a trip to Fieldcrest Brewing Company’s patio! I sipped a crisp Summer Ale and the boldly hoppy F Bomb (New England IPA), while Enzo enjoyed an ice cold water and a big treat.

Always love finding spots where we can share a pint and some puppy time. Where’s your favorite place to grab a beer with your dog? 🐕

Have you ever bought a beer just for the can art?🍻

Confession, I did AND I was hoping it would taste like blueberry cobbler in a glass…let me tell you it absolutely delivered. 🫐

Blazing Love is a pastry sour from in collaboration with with blueberry, vanilla, cinnamon and marshmallows.

This isn’t a face puckering sour, it’s lightly tart with blueberries shining through layered with sweet brown sugar vibes. This was dangerously sippable while building five IKEA bookcases (with thankfully no injuries involved)📚

Sadly I never made it to the Blaze taproom while living in Maine, but I’m glad I found this can!
