It was a great success! The "Fill The Cart from The Heart" food drive this past Saturday at Shaw's brought in a little over 1,000 Lbs of food and $1600 in cash donations for the Springfield Family Center Food Shelf. Thanks to all who donated. You made the season brighter for many. And thanks to the Springfield Rotary Club for putting it on. There is still time to help if you have not already. The Springfield Family Center is having a basket raffle ($2 a chance--three for $5) drawing will be on December 18th. Details at springfieldfamilycenter.com/

Dear Chamber Members,

As I prepare to step away from my role as Executive Director of the Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce shortly after the Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show, I want to take a moment to share my deepest gratitude with each of you.

Being allowed to lead this organization, in my own hometown, has meant more to me than I can express. When I stepped into this position, I was a young professional, fresh out of college, and full of ideas, hope, and determination. You took a chance on me, you welcomed me, supported me, and believed in what we could do together. I could not have asked for a bigger learning opportunity than what the last 4 years at the Chamber have provided.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most committed and community-minded people I’ve known. Together with our partners, board of directors, and membership, we’ve grown the Chamber’s presence, supported local businesses, and continued to foster a stronger, more connected Springfield. We've brought back events after COVID, welcomed new businesses, created new connections, and worked to bring our organization into the modern business world.

It has been an honor to serve this town that raised me, and as I turn the page to the next chapter of my life, I do so with pride in what we’ve accomplished and deep appreciation for the trust and encouragement you've shown me.

Thank you for believing in me, and thank you for all the work you do to keep Springfield vibrant, resilient, and full of potential.
