October means one thing in my house: Hocus Pocus (1993) goes on and stays on. 🎃 As a kid I was sure every black cat was secretly Thackery Binx, and I'm still a little nervous about lighting candles I don't know the history of. Which 80s or 90s Halloween movie or TV episode did you wear out every October?

Okay but hear me out — the 1991 Dark Shadows revival is streaming free on YouTube right now. Twelve episodes. Barnabas shows up before the first commercial break. I forgot how gothic and soapy and gloriously 90s that remake was. Who else got sucked back into Collinsport this week?

Okay, confession time. In 1990 my parents let me stay up for that two-night "It" miniseries on TV, and I have not looked at a storm drain the same way since. Tim Curry as Pennywise did more to shape my childhood than any teacher did. 🎈

All ten seasons are sitting free on streaming right now and I swear my brain just time-traveled straight back to after-school couch mode. Chevron seven locked. Theme song stuck. Zero regrets.
