⛸️ Once again this year the Springfield-Greene County Park Board will be offering free ice skating at Brightspeed Ice Park 6-8:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 during the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Holiday Show!

SKATE RENTAL WILL ALSO BE FREE during the Nov. 22 event! Skate rental will be on a first come, first serve basis, but you are also welcome to bring your own skates!

The Springfield Fire Department invites families to trick-or-treat at Springfield fire stations 6-9 p.m. on Friday. A complete list of our stations with maps is online at https://www.springfieldmo.gov/2220/Fire-Stations.

“It’s a great opportunity for families to visit their neighborhood fire stations, meet the crews who serve them, and enjoy a fun and safe evening,” said Fire Chief David Pennington.

Fire stations and on-duty crews will be available to hand out candy and greet trick-or-treaters and their families as call volume allows.

Families are encouraged to arrive in costume and enjoy the evening while reinforcing safety messages like checking candy before eating, carrying flashlights or glow sticks and staying on well-lit streets while trick-or-treating.

Drivers, please remember to be on the lookout 👀 for trick-or-treaters as you drive through Springfield neighborhoods.
